Argument of Evaluation
Activity
Role: You are a movie review blogger
Situation: You have decided to defend a movie of your choice against its critics or argue that all your readers need to watch this movie because it is so good.
Audience: Movie-watchers, blog-readers (your peers)
Goal: To convince the reader that the movie is “the best,” “good,” or a “classic”; or, on the other side, that a movie is “the worst,” “bad,” or unworthy of the title “classic” that it may have.
Suggestion: Watch a new movie! Here’s an excuse to watch a movie for homework!Google the top 100 films according to the American Film Institute (AFI) for a suggestion.
*Do not choose any movies that are seriously inappropriate—should you need a definition of that, speak to me.
